Composting nourishes the soil, fuels growth, and restores vitality simply through the breakdown and recycling of organic matter. In this Weekly (Com) Post, I’ll break down what nourished, fueled, and restored our week!
The artichokes! Man are we eating artichokes.
Eating them steamed, in pasta, on pizza.
Also eating broccoli. I know, why in the world did I plant this so late?
And beans! This year, growing ‘Royalty Purple’ (my favorite), ‘Red Swan’ (below with RP), ‘Dragon Tongue’, ‘Provider’, and ‘Rocdor’
After that ridiculous storm, I had to re-plant the zucchini, but it’s coming along!
This is what we like to see . . . SWEET CORN!
Gah, cherry tomatoes, please, pleeaaase, ripen!
You too!
I see ingredients for salsa verde!
This pie pumpkin plant is insanely vigorous. I’ve had to remove some vines so it didn’t smother the melons (it still might).
When I was a kid, I loved morning glories (still do). I thought it was so neat how they closed up at night and opened up in the morning.
A little friend on the wild sweet peas.
I don’t know . . . I just really like this rock.
